An emerging arts multi-hypenate, Joe Grisanzio is a singer, songwriter,
content creator, award-winning actor, arts manager, and producer.
Joe is based in New Jersey.
Through the musical theatre to singer-songwriter pipeline, Joe Grisanzio conveys compelling stories through his writing as a pop artist. Fusing vintage style with modern themes, he is a Jersey Shore-based singer, songwriter, and producer, inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Bruno Mars. His upcoming debut album derives from these artists’ sounds as well as his own. Joe and his band tour for performances at festivals, small venues, and private events in the Northeast. Joe has hit the stage at renowned venues including Mercury Lounge, The Green Room 42, and Shrine. His forthcoming debut album, "Grisanti", features a unique rawness and authenticity within the realm of modern pop music, focused on bringing people together. In 2025, Joe released the music video for his single "Memories" on all streaming platforms. Him and his band toured playing originals and covers at venues and events such as The Green Room 42, Inkwell, and Pocono Pride. In 2024, he released his first single "Sails", supporting his debut project "Beach Boy EP". His single "Siren", released in April 2025, is an expansion on the moody and nautical-inspired aesthetic of his EP. His lyricism is at times heartfelt, and other times cutting.

Joe is a former bass and arranger of the viral a cappella group Garden State Sound. A seasoned choir singer, Joe has also been a part of seven regional and national ensembles, and has sung in the choir at Carnegie Hall twice. These concerts have featured Matthew Morrison, Sierra Boggess, Robert Redford, Alex Boye, Al Gore, and Adam Jacobs, among others. Joe is also a touring sub with the Four Seasons and Beach Boys tribute Lights Out Vocals.
Joe has acted in over twenty stage shows at the collegiate and regional level. He received the Paper Mill Playhouse Rising Star Award in 2019 for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.
Recent credits include: The Threepenny Opera (Muhlenberg College), Waiting: A New Song Cycle (World-Premiere Showcase), Squeeze Her Hand (World-Premiere Workshop), The Drowsy Chaperone (Howell Performing Arts Center).
In addition to his work on stage and in the studio, Joe is a voice, songwriting, and piano instructor at Lakehouse Music Academy, and the former Community Engagement Coordinator at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey. Within patron services, he has house managed with Gingold Theatrical Group for two productions at Theatre Row, and has been a House Manager for McCarter Theatre Center and an usher at Two River Theater since 2023.
